Campaign Nonviolence

Campaign Nonviolence is a long-term grassroots movement for a culture of peace and nonviolence free from war, poverty, racism, environmental destruction and the epidemic of violence.
Each year, we invite people and organizations in the U.S. and worldwide to take action during our annual CNV Action Week around the International Day of Peace, September 21.  This is our sixth year organizing actions and we are hoping to mobilize over 2000 actions, marches and events across the U.S. covering all fifty states and beyond to take a strong stand for justice, disarmament and peace.
We hope you will join us for these upcoming events!

Film Screening: A Mindful Choice

Tuesday, September 17th, 6:30pm

Fogartyville, 525 Kumquat Ct, Sarasota

In A Mindful Choice, you will meet people who have found peace after marriage breakups, cancer diagnoses, and experiences of serious violence and trauma.

You’ll meet people who have left their self-doubts and inner demons behind so they could become better parents and partners. You’ll meet people who channel their inner peace into creative projects that bring joy to others.

Peace is possible, all that is required is for each of us to move towards it.
