10 Days of Anti-Racist Action & Education
March 11 - March 21, 2024
Over the course of ten days, Manasota Anti-Racism Coalition members will host a series of events focused on racial discrimination, structural racism, and building solidarity amongst people working for racial justice. The events will provide a space to hold crucial conversations about the current state-of-play of racial discrimination, its different manifestations and build power to counter racism.
We hope that you are able to attend an event during these ten days and connect with other community members that are working to combat racism. Make a commitment to work to undo racism AND stay connected with the Manasota Anti-Racism Coalition by taking the pledge below:

I pledge to strengthen my community by working to educate myself as well as transform my relationships, systems, and institutions to undo racism so that we may truly honor our shared humanity and respect the dignity of all.
I pledge to work to teach the youth in my family and community to not fear ideas or people, but to embrace the differences that strengthen us, develop the skills to have courageous dialogues despite any discomfort, and work collectively for equity and inclusion now and for the future.
